Our Team

Dr. Jason Egbert, OD
Dr. Egbert is our practice owner and heads up our phenomenal team! He and his darling wife Geri love living in this beautiful area and have been blown away by the kindness and support that Battle Ground and surrounding communities have shown them. Geri and Jason both grew up in SE Idaho, but their adventures have taken them all over the country, from ID to CA, NC, UT, TX, so they definitely appreciate the familiar, tight-knit Battle Ground community.
Dr. Egbert has a passion for providing vision care for patients of all ages, especially children. Much of his focus during training was directed at improving vision for little ones. He also loves taking care of some of the people that he admires most: America’s veterans and active military men and women. Dr. Egbert’s sincerity and quick laugh makes him an instant friend.
Jason and Geri love to travel and explore new places and cultures, and have a special interest in finding the best places to eat. Dr. Egbert loves playing and watching sports of all kinds and if you want to start a conversation, ask him about last night’s game. The Egberts’ latest adventure is anything but boring - adopting two energetic, amazing kids through foster care. They love kids and are so grateful to be able to share that love with children in need.

Jamie – Office Manager
Jamie is our Office Manager. She was born and raised in the PNW, who is a busy Mom raising her son. Jamie came from a 20 year retail management background where she has been involved with providing great customer service to others, and building relationships with her customers and her peers. Jamie has a warm, caring personality that you’re going to adore. In her down time, Jamie loves to spend time with her family. They love going on outings to local parks in this beautiful region.

Yana – Director of Communications
Yana has been with the practice since March of 2017, with breaks in between while attending school. No matter how far away she moves, her heart has always been with FSFV and she always finds her way back! She completed her Bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology at Central Washington University and her Master’s degree in Communication (Public Relations) at the University of Dayton. In her free time, she loves to be with her wonderful husband and their two sweet children.

DeAnna – Patient Care Coordinator Lead
DeAnna is our Front End Manager. She has worked in the Optical Industry for over 8 years and has over 30 years of patient care experience. She is very passionate about patient experiences and always wants the best for them.
She was born and raised in a military household and moved around a lot as a child, but she considers the Pacific Northwest her home. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing with her granddaughter, reading, refurbishing furniture and going to the beach with her dogs whenever she gets the chance. She also enjoys all the outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest offers. If there is a campfire nearby, that is where you will find her.

Erica – Optical Team Lead
I’m a warm, upbeat person who brings positive energy into everything I do. Outside of work, I love diving into a good book or getting creative with crafting projects. I enjoy connecting with others and approach each day with enthusiasm.

Stefanie – Optician
I am part of the optical team with over 8 years of experience in the eye care field. I began my career in patient services, which helped shape my compassionate, patient-focused approach. I enjoy helping patients choose frames that fit their vision needs, comfort, and personal style.

Mary – Optician
Multiple years of experience with styling individuals with their optical needs. Educating patients and providing exceptional customer service is primary. Outside of work traveling the world and experiencing other cultures. Hobbies include reading, quilting and watercolor painting.

Esther – Pt. Care Coordinator/Technician
Howdy! I’m Esther 🙂 I’ve been at FSFV for just over a year, and I’ve loved every moment! When I’m not working, I like to spend my time playing bass guitar (and regular guitar), painting, crocheting, and working out. Next year, I plan to start my (very long!) journey towards being an occupational therapist. I love the closeness that First Sight has nurtured with our clientele and am proud to be a part of a company that provides such a caring and excellent experience 🙂

Tracey – Technician
God. Family. Always having lots of fun and making people laugh. That’s the best of life for me.

Nataliia – Technician
I’m an introverted medical office technician who somehow enjoys working with people. I strive to make every patient feel seen and special, while working with great professionals and friends who are incredibly helpful. Outside of work, I unwind with scrapbooking, enjoy watching movies, and take long walks with loud music in my earphones, which is my preferred method of recharging and avoiding small talk.
